Event Details:

Each summer, the city hires over 85 staff to support parks, camps, aquatics, programming, special events and more. 

The Summer Job Fair is a great way to meet staff, learn more about working for the city and gain a better understanding of roles and the application process. The fair is free to attend and happening on January 15 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the main lobby of the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. There will be staff from city departments representing recreation, summer camps, parks and volunteer services. 

The City of Waterloo is a living wage employer, which means all full-time, part-time and contract staff earn at least a living wage. The lowest hourly wage for city staff is currently $20.90.
