Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre invites you to their summer musical Ordinary Days (music and lyrics by Adam Gwon). This semi, could-be, quasi, sort-of fairy-tale will run from June 8 to June 24 on Thursday through Saturday nights, with curtain at 8pm each night.
What is Ordinary Days about? Well, imagine… New York City, 2006. George Bush is president, Borat impersonations are all the rage, and all the cool kids are listening to Nelly Furtado on their iPod Classics. Among all this, four hapless strangers are united by fate: fiery Deb, optimistic Warren, hopelessly romantic Jason, and self-possessed Claire. This fun and upbeat musical is all about finding beauty in everyday life, and the value of human connection in difficult times.
The performances are all at the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre at 9 Princess Street East, Waterloo. Tickets are $20 in advance (plus service fees), $25 at the door, with discounts available for KWLT members, groups of six or more patrons, and youths and seniors.
